Ubiquity G4/G5 Camera Mount .stl files
This is a wall mount that is compatible with the Ubiquity G4/G5 Dome cameras. It features a removeable wall mount plate for easy installation, a removeable top cover for easy access to the ethernet port on the camera, and a hole through the mount to route the cable!
Instructions:
Use the screws included with the camera to attach the mounting plate to the main body of the wall mount.
Attach the wall mount plate to the wall using screws/drywall anchors. (You will have to source these yourself. if you have extra screws from another ubiquity product, they will work perfectly.)
Attach the camera to the main body of the wall mount by rotating it into place on the mounting bracket attached to it.
Route your ethernet cable up through the hole in the camera mount and back down into the ethernet jack on the camera.
Slide the main body of the mounting bracket onto the dovetail on the wall mount bracket.
Slide the lock on the bottom of the mount out to secure the mount together and prevent it from being able to be shaken off the wall.
Notes: some sanding may be required to get the pieces to slide together properly. I am able to assemble the mount without sanding when they are printed on my machines. But, it all depends on calibration, print settings, accuracy, etc.
Print Settings
Wall Bracket:
The wall mount bracket should be printed with 100% infill for maximum strength.
Other Parts:
Print all other parts with at least 4 perimeters to maintain rigidity and prevent sagging.
Notes:
If you plan to use the mount outdoors, printing it in PETG or any other UV stable/high temp material. For indoor use, PLA should be more than enough.
